Riverside Masonic Lodge No 862, in cooperation with American Legion Van Buren Post #401, and Boy Scout Troop 111 will conduct a memorial wreath laying on Saturday, July 3, at 7:45 a.m., at Riverside Masonic Temple, 40 Forest Avenue, Riverside.
As part of the lodge’s Independence Day celebrations, the wreath-laying ceremony will honor the nation’s armed services and those who have defended our nation’s liberty and freedom.
The ceremony is also part of the dedication of the George F. Cepek, World War II Veteran Memorial Honor Garden, which was the Eagle Scout project of local Boy Scout Dean Papadogianis.
Spectators are welcome to attend the short ceremony that will take place before the step-off of the Riverside Independence Day Parade.
