Several Brookfield residents were among the 375 students at Lyons Township High School names Advanced Placement Scholars in recognition of their exceptions achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams. Students took AP exams in May 2021 after completing the courses.

The College Board, which administers the program, recognizes several levels of achievement based on the number of courses and success of exams, which are graded on a 1-5 point scale, with grades of 3 or higher earning college course credit.

Named AP Scholars of Distinction (avg. grade of 3.5 on all exams and scores of 3+ on five or more exams) were Ahmad Ayyeh, Aileen Flores, Ryan Kudia, Jocelyn Liddell, Evan Madden, Melania Muth and Robert Wilson.

Named AP Scholars with Honor (avg. grade of 3.25 on all exams and scores of 3+ on 4 or more exams) were Luke Alpe and Henry Turcotte.

Named AP Scholars (scores of 3+ on 3 or more exams) were Tye Abbott, Gonzalo Herrera, Abraham Morales, Sarah O’Riley, Emily Quintero, Jessica Quintero, Owen Rand, Duska Richert, Xavier Rios, Angel Rivera, Adriana Serrano Matsumo, Austin Turcotte and Luis Villasenor.
