James A. Bigane, 70, of LaGrange Park, died April 20, 2023.
Mr. Bigane served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and formerly worked as a maintenance man for the village of Riverside. He was a member of the VFW Post 2868.
He was the husband of the late Maureen (nee Dust); the brother of Mary (James) McGlone, Susan (Maury) Sheehy, Michael Bigane, Virginia M. Bigane, the late John E. Bigane III, and the late Elizabeth M. Bigane; the brother-in-law of Margaret (Bill) Brummel, Michael (Laurie) Dust and Dan (Nancy) Dust; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated April 26 at St. Mary Church in Riverside. Inurnment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The VFW Post 2868, 8844 Ogden Ave., Brookfield, Illinois, 60513 are appreciated.
