The Riverside Junior Woman’s Charity, also known as the Riverside Juniors, recently announced members who have been elected to the organization’s leadership board for the 2023-24 season.
In June, the group’s general membership elected Andrea Kitamura (center) president of Riverside Juniors. She is joined on the board by (from left) April Knowles, returning treasurer; Michelle Salzmann, vice president of member services; Cari Hermann, vice president of community outreach; Maureen Horonzy, secretary; Maggie Boorazanes (vice president of fundraising); and Danielle E. McKinney, vice president of operations.
Riverside Juniors was founded in 1937 and became a 501c3 charitable organization in 2009. Members of Riverside Juniors are dedicated to fostering friendships among Riverside’s neighbors, addressing the needs of others, and improving the quality of life in Riverside Township and the surrounding areas.
Last year, the charity donated more than $25,000 to local organizations and families needing their community’s support.
