Geraldine Kolb (nee Dods), 90, of Brookfield, died on May 23, 2026. She worked in the front office for a medical practice.
Geraldine was the wife of the late James Philip Kolb Sr.; the mother of Donna Porter, James (Medria) Kolb Jr., and John (Lisa) Kolb; the grandmother of Nick Franciose, Christopher (Rikki) Franciose, Caley (Bryan) Engnell, Kyle Kolb, Michelle Porter, Kendall (Jenna) Kolb and Danielle (Bobby) Kolb; great-grandmother of Jackson Johnson, Joslyn Engnell, Brayden Franciose, Kasey Kolb, Oliver Moore, Jakub Franciose, Finley Engnell, McKenzie Kolb, Axel Engnell, River Engnell, Everly Hall, Phoenix Engnell, Echo Moon and Aurora Engnell; sister of the late Albert (Jeannie) Dods; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31 from 2 p.m. to the time of service, 6 p.m., at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment private.
