Kathy Jo Ogar, 75, of Brookfield, died on May 19, 2026. A proud graduate of DePaul University, she was the past owner of Brookfield True Value Hardware for over 40 years.
Kathy was the daughter of the late Stanley J. Ogar Sr. and the late Josephine L. Ogar (nee Venezio); the sister of Albert R. (Sharon) Ogar and the late Stanley J. (Jenny) Ogar Jr.; the aunt of four; the great-aunt of many; and friend to many.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 26 at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 31st St., Brookfield. Funeral Mass followed at St. Louise de Marillac Church, LaGrange Park. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
