Michael Douglas Yost, 67, of Burr Ridge, died on May 19, 2026. He worked in the field of transportation logistics. His mother and brother are residents of Brookfield. An avid Chicago White Sox fan, he was a great athlete of many sports, especially golf and basketball. He loved life, family and friends.
Michael was the son of Ann Yost (nee Kovar) and the late David A. Yost; brother of Robert (Patty) Yost and David Yost; uncle of Brian (Abby) Yost and Taylor (Jay) Jamison; great-uncle of 7; and friend of many.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to time of service, 11:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment private.
