Jane Frances Kasal (nee Burns), 91, of North Riverside, formerly of Brookfield, died on May 23, 2026 in Brookfield. Born on Feb. 4, 1935 in Brookfield, she was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards.
Jane was the wife of the late Rudolph J. Kasal; the mother of Jeff (Christopher) Kasal, Jennifer (Dan) Parisi, Brian (Tripti) Kasal, Steve (Marilyn) Kasal and Mike (Vivian) Kasal; the grandmother of Caleb, Mary, Yosman, Luis, Cassie (Danny), Sarah (Scot), Dana (Carson), Lindsay, Evan (Mireya), Quinn (Ayesha), Connor (Jordan), Taylor (Cameron), Grant (Emily), Riley (Llewyn), Autumn, and Christian (Grace); great-grandmother of Danny, Grayson, Oliver, London, Foster, Jude, Chase and Miles; sister of the late Dorothy (late Paul) Lapp; and the aunt of Kristine, Kathy, Renee, Pam, Unalee and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Nosek Funeral Home 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 4 at Mater Christi Church, North Riverside, at 10 a.m., with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
