Daniel T. Kruzic, 82, of Frankfort, Kentucky, formerly of North Riverside, died peacefully, leaving behind a life filled with family, friendship, music, and many interests that made him uniquely Daniel. He called Ashwood Place Senior Living home for 19 years, making him the longest resident on record. Over nearly two decades, Ashwood became much more than a place to live; it was a community where he built friendships, shared memories, and became a special part of the lives around him.
He was a proud graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned his master’s degree in Ceramic Engineering. An intelligent and curious man he took pride in his education.
Daniel was the father of Kathleen (Todd) Momper; grandfather of Bryce Momper; brother of Ron (Nancy) Kruzic; and uncle of Katy (Bobby) Brickman. His family will remember him not only for the role he played in their lives, but for the memories they shared and the unique person he was.
