The penguins at the Brookfield Zoo have welcomed a new baby to their colony.
Robin, who hatched on July 7, debuted within the zoo’s Living Coast’s Rocky Shores habitat on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Robin is a Humboldt penguin and was named after American Humane Society President and CEO Dr. Robin Ganzert.
The Brookfield Zoo has been in the news plenty recently. They brought their Zoo Adventure Passport series to the Chicago Public Library’s Austin branch and made a deal on a field with Riverside-Brookfield High School.
