Wesley Robert Phenegar III, 64 of Brookfield died on Aug. 9, 2026 at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. Born on Sept. 10, 1961 in Penascola, Florida, he worked as a Carpenter for a construction company, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his wife, fixing things, working on his Jeep and watching his grandchildren grow up.
Wesley was the husband of Susan Hvorcik; the father of Amanda Phenegar, Wes Phenegar, Tim Medina, Melissa Phenegar, Steffani Dahlstrom, Sean Phenegar and Sam Phenegar; grandfather of Taylor and Lukas Dahlstrom, Liam Smith and Weston Phenegar; brother of Melanie Phenegar and Dane Phenegar; and the uncle of Luke and Erin Hodina and Tabetha, Brittany, Dane Jr., Hannah, Lillia and Brogan Phenegar.
Cremation services will be held privately.
