Allen P. Zak, 71, of Brookfield and Mt. Prospect, died on Jan. 28, 2026. An avid sports fan, he was a retired transporter for a Medical Supply Company.
Al was the son of the late Walter and late Florence; the companion of Linda Lafronza; the brother of the late James (Myra) Zak, Frederick (Joanne) Zak and the late Nanette (late Bernard) Richert; the uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle of many; Papa Al of Anthony (Yesenia) and Grand of Catalina and Francesca.
Services were held at Sacred Heart Church, Palos Hills, on Feb. 6 with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
Funeral services were handled by Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home.
