Allen Joseph Smith, 69, of North Riverside, died March 9, 2018. Mr. Smith was a U.S. Air Force captain who served in Vietnam and a longtime employee of United Airlines.

Hauser Food Drive makes a difference
As Hauser Junior High School is in the midst of our 48th Annual Canned Food Drive, I invite you all to help Hauser fight hunger. For 47 years, Hauser has been the largest contributor to the Salvation Army’s food pantry in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.
