Brookfield resident Frank Norton was the grand prize winner in Brookfield Zoo’s annual photo contest in 2011, with his shot of the zoo’s two African lions, Isis and Zenda, taking top honors from among almost 400 entries.
By winning the contest, Norton received a round-trip plane trip for him and a companion to any destination served by American Airlines or American Eagle within the continental U.S.
The contest is judged by professional photographers and includes first-, second- and third-place winners in adult and child categories. The grand prize is awarded to the best photo submitted in the opinion of the judges.
