It was essentially a tale of two quarters for the Lyons Township boys basketball team which rolled to a 69-34 win over visiting Downers Grove North on Friday.

The Lions outscored the Trojans 22-5 and 17-4 in the second and fourth quarters, respectively, to secure the lopsided West Suburban (Silver) Conference win.

Chris O’Reilly led the Lions’ charge with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists. Even more impressive, the senior swingman shot a perfect game offensively, sinking all seven of his field goals (including 5-for-5 from three-point arc) and going 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. Sam Cybulski added 14 points and four rebounds and Jarryd Heath also reached double figures (10 points) along with seven deflections defensively. Sophomore guard Harrison Niego continued his solid work at the point by netting six points and dishing out six assists.
