Edward F. Gaughan, 72, of Brookfield, died Sept. 13, 2020, just eight days before the death of his wife, Susan (see obituary here). Mr. Gaughan worked in the construction industry as a carpenter.
He was the husband of the late Susan Gaughan; the father of Megan (Adrian Pyk) Gaughan, Kevin (Nique) Gaughan and Michael Gaughan; the grandfather of Moira Gaughan; the brother of Doris Reynolds, Kathy McGarry, Geri Ford, Kevin Gaughan, Carmel Gaughan, Betsy McCarthy and the late Irene Gaughan; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering for both Edward and Susan Gaughan will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield.
All state and federal COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines are followed. All guests entering the building must wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing.
