Dennis Sobota, 83, of Brookfield, died on Nov. 9, 2025. A telecommunication technician, he retired from AT&T. He loved fishing in Wisconsin, visiting casinos and attending and showing his car in many car shows. His most cherished possessions were his car show trophies.
Dennis was the brother of Alison (Jim) Harascsak, Kimberly (Ralph Tate) Kilarski and the late Ronald Sobota; the cousin of many; and the lifelong friend of the five: Don, Dave, Tom N. and Tom S.
Visitation was held on Nov. 14, and the service on Nov. 15 at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
