Helen D. Lamich, nee Gaberleski, 91, of Brookfield, died in LaGrange Park on Dec. 22, 2025. Born on April 24, 1934 in Cicero, she worked as a hairstylist for many years before retiring.
Helen was the wife of the late Paul D. Lamich; the mother of Cindy (Ken) Piper and the late Raymond P. Lamich; the grandmother of Jimmy (Nikki) Piper and Jessica (Spencer) Daniels; the great-grandmother of Parker, Ava, Maisie, Taylor and Hunter; sister of the late Clarence, Eddie and Lenny Gaberleski; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation services with private inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside will be held.
