James P. Bures, 76, of Riverside, died on May 18, 2026. He was a retired accountant.
Jim was the husband of Paula; the brother of Maryann (John) Andrews; brother-in-law of Jeri (John) De Boer; uncle of Stephanie (Nick) LaPorta, Ryan Andrews (Katie Macjen), Josh Ami (Josh) Kos and Jason (Colleen) and John (Jessica) De Boer and the late Bradley “Brad” Andrews; great-uncle of Gianna LaPorta, Logan LaPorta and the DeBoer family nieces and nephews; and stepfather of the late Anthony Shortt.
Visitation & Services for Jim were held on May 22 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside, with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
