Jean L. Vondriska (nee Oechsel), 97, of North Riverside died on July 13, 2026. Born on Aug. 28, 1918 in Oak Park, she was an administrative assistant in the medical field.
She was the wife of the late George J. Vondriska Jr.; the mother of Jean Helen Vondriska, Ann E. (Dan Brinnehl) Vondriska, Mary T. (Michael Sechrist) Vondriska, George J. III (Krista Demuth) Vondriska, and Joan A. (Bill) Kanatas; the grandmother of Abigail (Andrew) Ohlson, Joshua (Amanda) Gordon, Zoe Savage, Zachary (Trina) Gordon, Meghan (Ryan) Walsh, Elizabeth Gordon, Genevieve (Tyler) Valentine, George J. Vondriska IV, Mia Kanatas, and Ana Kanatas; great-grandmother of Muriel Ohlson, Matthew Ohlson, Meara Ohlson and Harrison Gordon; and the sister of Bert M. (late Gloria) Oechsel.
Visitation will be held on July 28 at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., at St. Leonard Church, 3318 Clarence Ave., Berwyn. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
