Brookfield Village Hall “drew a steady stream of voters” for the two-week period leading up to Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in which it served as an early voting site for Cook County, according to the village.

For the 2026 election, Brookfield serviced 7,174 early voters in total, beating out the 6,146 who voted early in Brookfield in 2018 and the 5,511 who did so in 2022. All three years featured gubernatorial elections in which Governor JB Pritzker won.

Monday, Nov. 2, the last day of early voting, drew in 866 voters, making it “the busiest day with lines out the doors all afternoon and around the building to the Police Department entrance as polls closed,” according to a village press release.

The second-busiest day was Friday, Oct. 30, when 732 people cast ballots at Brookfield Village Hall.

Brookfield sourced the data from the Cook County Clerk’s Office, which records election turnouts and results.
