Kenneth W. Mooney, 79, of Riverside, died Nov. 28, 2020.
Mr. Mooney served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he was a helicopter pilot. He later received his M.B.A. from Harvard and was a retired healthcare consultant. He loved Irish music, telling stories and volunteering.
He was the father of Sean (Zelida), Suzanne and Scott Mooney; the grandpa of Naomi and Sebastian Mooney and grand dog Jake; the brother of Stephen (Susie) and the late Lawrence Mooney; the uncle of many; and sweetheart of the late Mary Nakayama.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 126 Herrick Road, Riverside. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. to check in. Mass will be livestreamed at tinyurl.com/y2qxygkn
Interment is on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood.
