Alexandria Hand (nee James), 72, of Brookfield and formerly of LaGrange Park and Mukwonago, Wisconsin, died Dec. 5, 2020.
Ms. Hand was a longtime waitress at the Buresh’s Lobster House, a popular Brookfield restaurant, now demolished, at 31st Street and Prairie Avenue.
She was the wife of the late Gary Michael Hand; the mother of Michelle (Dean) Maggos and Denise (Ed) Hovorka; the grandmother of John (Meghan) Maggos, Michael Maggos and Alex Maggos; the sister of Tommy (Nancy) James, the late Molly (the late Tom) Curry, Elizabeth James, Wallace James and her half-brothers, the late Walter James and William James; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date, after larger gatherings can take place. Interment is private.
Memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
