Karen J. Pouliot (nee Smit), 70, of Brookfield, died on Feb. 8, 2025. She worked as a consultant in the field of enrollment benefits
Karen was the wife of the late Raymond F. Pouliot and the late Edward Orszula; the stepmother of Daniel R. (Kaitlyn R.) Pouliot; the sister of Marcia Smith, Doris (Bob) McCann, and the late Gail Speer; the sister-in-law of Pat Meschi; the brother-in-law of Gene Pouliot; and the aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on March 6 from 3 to 8 p.m. and March 7 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513, followed by funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, Brookfield. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
