Russell L. Trunk, 84, of Riverside, died on Aug. 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on Sept. 14, 1940 in Cicero to his parents, Francis and Loretta Trunk, he dedicated more than 30 years of service to International Harvester, where he worked alongside his brother Frank. Known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and devotion to family, he will be deeply missed.
Russell was the father of Kathleen (Sal) Dodaro, Michael (Alex) Trunk, Karen (Brandon) Lanehart, and Robert (Lisa) Trunk; the grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 17; and the brother, uncle and friend to many.
Services were held at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside.
