District 95 should be looking into asking St. Barbara Parish if they can use their school building rather than trying to build a building on Madlin Park.

I wish that all could be caring and think first of all of those who are in need, those with bills that they cannot pay, those with mortgages that are too much to bear, those who are in danger of eviction, those who have concerns about buying prescriptions or seeing a dentist.

PEP has no economic development plan
While reviewing previous posts from the PEP Party of Brookfield Facebook page, I came across their platform from the 2013 election. One of their campaign promises was to “administer the Ogden Avenue TIF Districts in a professional, open and accountable manner to advance our economic development plan.”
Sustainable development the goal in Brookfield
The Landmark recently reported about the redevelopment of a property obtained by the Village of Brookfield, and a developer proposing returning the property to a bowling alley (“Plan pitched to renovate Brookfield Bowl,” News, Dec. 10). The developer felt the village was putting up roadblocks to him because he is ready to move.
No faith in Brookfield on development
When I read the “Plan pitched to renovate Brookfield Bowl” story in the Dec. 10 issue, I was happy for the possibility of something to do with my family that didn’t force us to go to another suburb. There might be something for the residents to actually do in Brookfield.
